Chanel's Creative Director Karl Lagerfield is set to release not one but TWO more affordable brands online in 2012.
"We are working on a lot of amazing ideas which are all about making luxury affordable and accessible. I'm very excited about bringing this vision to life with this brand," Lagerfeld said.
The first "rock chick" collection, simply named Karl, will launch online on January 25 with items priced from US$85 - $400. Lagerfield has designed about 100 items to be released on the popular net-a-porter.com site.
In addition, a slightly more pricey range "Karl Lagerfield Paris" will be launched in Autumn 2012 with items ranging in price from US$400 - $2000.
"It's today's taste and style and a reflection of how I think a great number of people would like to be dressed now," stated Lagerfeld.
